About
Danny Echevarria is a re-recording mixer and sound designer whose work is rooted in a background in music production. He treats the mix itself as an instrument. Dialogue, sound effects, ambience, and score become a unique composition, which he shapes with an ear toward rhythm, tone, and emotional flow. His work centers on bringing cohesion and polish to complex, multi-source material, often in environments that don’t always make it easy. The goal is always the same: natural, immersive sound that feels intentional, musical, and human.
Based, born, and raised in Los Angeles, he has contributed to exhibition work at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures and teaches music production and mixing at UCLA Extension.
Danny works remotely from a home studio but is available to work on site upon request.
